Getting Started

What is POPs?

POPs is your Life HQ—a single place where calendar, tasks, and contacts converge. Voice capture what's on your mind, and AI extracts people, tasks, events, places, goals, aspirations, and ideas. Review on your schedule. Query your captured data with natural language.

How do I capture something?

Tap the capture button on the home screen and speak naturally. You can also configure your iPhone's Action Button to open POPs directly to capture. POPs works from the lock screen—speak your thought, put your phone away, and review later.

What are the 7 entity types?

POPs extracts: People (names, relationships), Tasks (doable actions), Events (calendar items), Places (locations), Goals (achievable endpoints), Aspirations (who you want to be), and Ideas (freeform thoughts).

What's included in the free tier?

Voice and text capture, AI entity extraction, review flow, Today view (calendar + tasks), basic People view, 5 queries per day, and 30 days of card history.

What does Premium add?

Unlimited queries, unlimited card history, email metadata intelligence, relationship alerts, Apple Watch capture, home screen widgets, cross-app orchestration, pattern insights, photo/OCR capture, and data export.

Premium is $7.99/month, $59.99/year, or $149.99 lifetime. All new users get a 7-day free trial.

Privacy & Data

Where is my data stored?

Your captures, entities, and personal data are stored in your private iCloud container and sync across your devices. Continuity Labs cannot access your iCloud data.

How does AI processing work?

Your voice is transcribed on-device. The text is then sent to our AI service (Claude by Anthropic) for entity extraction. The AI processes your text, returns structured entities, then the data is discarded—we don't store your transcripts on our servers.

What about my voice recordings?

Voice recordings are deleted after transcription unless you explicitly choose to save them. We never store your audio on our servers.

Can I export my data?

Yes—data export is available for Premium users. Go to Settings > Export Data to download your captures and entities.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual cards and entities from within the app. To delete all data, go to Settings > Delete All Data. Since your data is stored in your iCloud, deletion is immediate and under your control.

Troubleshooting

Voice capture isn't working

Make sure POPs has microphone permission (Settings > POPs > Microphone). If the problem persists, try restarting the app or your device. Voice capture requires a quiet environment for best results.

Entity extraction seems wrong

AI extraction isn't perfect. You can edit extracted entities before confirming them. If extraction consistently misses things, try speaking more clearly or breaking long captures into shorter segments.

My data isn't syncing across devices

Ensure you're signed into the same iCloud account on all devices and that iCloud sync is enabled for POPs (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > POPs). Sync may take a few moments, especially for larger amounts of data.

Calendar or contacts aren't showing

POPs needs permission to access your calendar and contacts. Go to Settings > POPs and ensure Calendar and Contacts permissions are enabled.

Watch capture isn't working

Apple Watch capture is a Premium feature. Ensure your Watch is paired with your iPhone, both devices are on the same iCloud account, and you have an active Premium subscription. The POPs app must be installed on your Watch.

Widgets aren't updating

Widgets are a Premium feature. iOS updates widgets periodically—not in real-time. If widgets seem stuck, try removing and re-adding them, or restart your device.

Managing Your Subscription

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings (on your iPhone) > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > POPs > Cancel Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of your billing period.

How do I restore my purchase?

In POPs, go to Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchases. This will restore any previous purchases made with your Apple ID.
